This article explains how the Available For feature works for pet businesses. It allows you to customize which services are displayed to customers based on the type of pet they have.
This feature helps by:
– Preventing booking mistakes during online appointments
– Hiding irrelevant services to create a cleaner, more user-friendly experience
Important: If a service should be available only for a specific pet type, make sure the Pet Type field is defined. Without it, the system cannot properly filter services.
To help you understand how this feature works, here are four example services:
By default, customers see all services during booking, regardless of pet type. This can lead to confusion or booking errors (e.g., selecting dog services for a cat).
To avoid this, configure each service in the Available For tab to show only for relevant pet types or characteristics.
Where to find it:
Go to your Services Catalog, open a service, and navigate to the Available For tab.

Note: The breed and coat lists can be managed under Pet Breeds / Coats in your system settings. These settings are controlled at the corporate level and apply to all locations.

Available for: Dogs that are Medium or Large size
Mini Groom
Available for: Small Dogs only

Available for: All Dogs, regardless of size
