Connecting Ingenico iCT250 to Android Register
Confirming Terminal info
Step 1
Before connecting, please make sure that the device matches the following information:
- SDK Version: 9.26.2
- OS Version: 4614
- App Version: 0604
You can find out about this as follows.
- Press the .,#* button
- Enter the Manager Password.
- Go to the Terminal info Menu or press "7"
- Press 1 or Terminal info
Connecting the Franpos Register to the iCT250
Step 2 - Go into the iCT250 Settings to find the IP Address
- Press the .,#* button
- Enter the password
- Go to Setup Menu or press "3"
- Enter the password
- Go to Communications or press "2"
- Select Ethernet or press "3"
- Press Current setup or press "1"
- You will see the IP Type: Dynamic/Static and the IP ADDRESS
Step 3 - Go into the iCT250 Settings to find/enter the PORT
- Press the .,#* button
- Enter the password
- Go to Misc. Options or press "9"
- Select Semi-Integrated or press "1"
- Select Communication-Type or press "2"
- Select Ethernet or press "3"
- Enter port 9999 or 1433
Step 4 - Match that IP ADDRESS from the iCT250 to the IP ADDRESS of the Franpos Register
- On the Franpos Register
- Select Settings on the left-hand side menu
- Select Devices
- Select Pin Pad Settings
- If the port (Step 3) matches, press "Scan Network" or manually enter the IP address. The IP will be 192.168.0.x
- Make sure to match this IP Address to the IP ADDRESS from the iCT250
Step 5 - Match the PORT from the iCT250 to the PORT of the Franpos Register
- On the Franpos Register
- Select Settings on the left-hand side menu
- Select Devices
- Select Pin Pad Settings
- The Port should be matching your terminal settings i.a. 9999 or 1433
- Press Test connection or run a transaction
