Connecting Ingenico iCT250 to Android Register

Confirming Terminal info

Step 1 

Before connecting, please make sure that the device matches the following information:

  • SDK Version: 9.26.2
  • OS Version: 4614
  • App Version: 0604

You can find out about this as follows.

  • Press the .,#* button
  • Enter the Manager Password.
  • Go to the Terminal info Menu or press "7"
  • Press 1 or Terminal info

 

Connecting the Franpos Register to the iCT250

Step 2 - Go into the iCT250 Settings to find the IP Address

  • Press the .,#* button
  • Enter the password 
  • Go to Setup Menu or press "3"
  • Enter the password
  • Go to Communications or press "2" 
  • Select Ethernet or press "3"
  • Press Current setup or press "1"
  • You will see the IP Type: Dynamic/Static and the IP ADDRESS

 

Step 3 - Go into the iCT250 Settings to find/enter the PORT

  • Press the .,#* button
  • Enter the password 
  • Go to Misc. Options or press "9"
  • Select Semi-Integrated or press "1"
  • Select Communication-Type  or press "2"
  • Select Ethernet or press "3"
  • Enter port 9999 or 1433

 

Step 4 - Match that IP ADDRESS from the iCT250 to the IP ADDRESS of the Franpos Register 

  • On the Franpos Register
  • Select Settings on the left-hand side menu 
  • Select Devices
  • Select Pin Pad Settings
  • If the port (Step 3) matches, press "Scan Network" or manually enter the IP address. The IP will be 192.168.0.x
  • Make sure to match this IP Address to the IP ADDRESS from the iCT250

 

Step 5 - Match the PORT from the iCT250 to the PORT of the Franpos Register 

  • On the Franpos Register
  • Select Settings on the left-hand side menu 
  • Select Devices
  • Select Pin Pad Settings
  • The Port should be matching your terminal settings i.a. 9999 or 1433
  • Press Test connection or run a transaction
