Easy weigh scale setup
In this article, we will show you how to connect Easy Weigh scales to Franpos POS.
Adapter Required: USB - RS232 with FTDI Support
Please see the image below for the cable connection setup:
1. Connect the RS232-RS232 cable that came with the scales to the scales' RS232 port.
2. Connect the RS232-USB cable to the RS232 cable that is connected to the scales. The RS232-USB cable ships separately.
3. Connect the RS232-USB cable to the POS.
Preparing POS:
1. Go to Settings -> Features.
2. Enable Scale -> ON.
3. Scale vendor -> Other.
