How to Schedule Automatic Emails for Reports

In this article, we’ll guide you through scheduling an automatic email to receive a report on a regular basis.

For this example, we’ll schedule a Sales Report, but the same steps apply to any report.

Steps to Schedule a Report:

      1. Open the Desired Report

            - Navigate to the report you wish to email regularly.
            - Click the EMAIL button.

2. Set the Email Frequency

A pop-up will appear asking how often you’d like to receive the email:
            - Daily
            - Weekly
            - Monthly
Select your preferred option.

3. Specify the Email Time

      - Choose the time when the email should be sent.
      - We recommend scheduling it after your store closes.
      Example:
      - If you schedule a daily report for 12:00 PM, it will only include sales made before 12:00 PM that day. The next day’s report will exclude sales after 12:00 PM from the previous day
      - To ensure you capture all sales for a day, schedule the email for 11:59 PM, as 12:00 AM marks the start of a new day in sales reporting.

4. Set the Start Date

     - Define the start date for the report emails.
     - We recommend not using today’s date to ensure complete data in the first report.

5. Enter Recipient Email Addresses

      - Specify the email address(es) to receive the report.
      - For multiple recipients, separate email addresses with commas:
            Example: person1@mail.com, person2@mail.com.
