Factory Reset on the POS and install the latest version of Register application

Factory Reset on the POS and install the latest version of Register application

FACTORY RESET IS NOT RECOMMENDED AS IT COMPLETELY RESET THE DEVICE AND INSTALL THE REGISTER APPLICATION FROM THE SCRATCH.

Please perform this only when recommended or advised by FRANPOS Team.















The POS now restarts and will display ANDROID on the screen. Will come back to regular screen in less than 5 minutes.

Once the device is back - please go to device settings and make sure it is connected to store internet ( LAN Ethernet or on Wi Fi )

Once it is connected with internet please click on Register and login with your Franpos login credentials.






Once logged in you will see a notification at the top center inside the register application like in the picture below.



Please click on it and it gives you an Option to Download



Once click on Download it will start downloading and the progress will be seen like in the picture below



Once downloaded it gives and option to install. Please click on install





Once installed please click on Open and it should open the register application again.







This completes the process.

Please connect the PAX Device with POS .

Once you are inside Register application please click on Settings - Devices - Payment Terminal



Inside Payment terminal page - please type in the serial number of the PAX CREDIT/DEBIT Machine and click on Find terminal IP.



Once it finds the IP address click on Test Connection. If it says Connection Established it means the POS and PAX are connected and ready to run Credit/Debit Transactions
