Global Verifone T650 C Credit/Debit Machine (Canada) Setup with Franpos

In this article you will learn how to connect the Android Payment Device with Franpos Dual Screen Register

Global Franpos is the merchant service provider . 
Verifone is the Manufacturer of this Payment Device
T650 C is the name/Model of the device.

This device is primarily used by our customers in Canada. When it comes to Canada we (Franpos) also integrate other payment devices, such as the Ingenico ICT250 and Desk 5000.

T650C has been added to our list of Compatible devices in July 2024

The first step in the Setup process as soon as the store receives this Global T650  is the store owner reach out to Global Support at 1-800-263-2970 and ask for LEVEL 2 Support.

Things to get verified and Confirmed related to T650C with Global Support Level 2

1. Device is in Semi Integrated Mode. If not please work with Global support and get the necessary settings Pushed
2. If the store wants to protect processing refunds with a Password. Please work with Global support and get the necessary settings Pushed accordingly.
3. If the store wants to completely skip Merchant Copy and leave Customer Copy Print option as Optional. If not please work with Global support and get the necessary settings Pushed

Once everything is set up, please call Franpos Support Canada Support number at (647) 692-6072 and request assistance with connecting the Global T650C to Franpos

-Please open the CID on our Franpos Partner Portal, navigate to the Info tab, and ensure that the Primary Merchant Provider is set to Global Payments. Then, confirm and save the page.

Sync the Register Application on the Franpos Device.

This device works on WI-FI or Ethernet. If you want to connect the device On WI-FI please click on settings and connect it with your Store WI-FI . If the device prompts for password please contact Global support 





Once the device is ready with all the required settings if you need to capture the IP Address of the device you can click on Diagnostics - network information and look for the information.






Once you confirm that the device and internet connection are working properly, return to the home screen and click on Payments. The device may take a few seconds to a minute to load before displaying the Global Payment screen.











This minute the device is ready to get connected to our Franpos.

On the POS - Register Application - Please go to Settings - Devices - Payment Terminal - Make sure the port number you see is either 8080 or 8081. 
Click on Scan Network and wait for few seconds. Once the IP Address is found you can click on Test Connection. 
If the IP Address is not scanned please type in the IP Address from the T650C Device Manually - Save and Test Connection.

FYI - Both POS and T650C should always be on the same network to connect and talk .
