Kitchen Display (KDS) Initial Setup

In this training, you will learn how to use Register and Kitchen display application for a restaurant.

Note: Before starting Kitchen display please download the Kitchen display app from https://apps.franpos.com/ from your kitchen devices browser.

  1. Login to your FOH register, Press ‘Settings'
  2. Select ‘Devices’
  3. Press ‘Kitchen Display devices’
  4. Start the server
  5. Turn on Live updates

      6. Check your Kitchen display IP Address once the server has started

      7. Open up your Kitchen Display application on your android system

      8. Allow display application to find register server

      8. Verify IP address of register is correct and Connect

      9. If you don’t see your IP Address from the Register try to press reconnect.

    10. Return to  the Register and select an item

    11. The item that was rung in should now appear on your kitchen display device

 

 

Please note: You can remove orders from the KDS by pressing and holding the order box:
