Receiving Inventory with Franpos Pulse App

Easily receive inventory using the Franpos Pulse App on your iOS/Android device by following the steps below.

1️⃣ Log in to the PULSE App on your Phone

·       Use the same login credentials as for the Franpos Back Office.

2️⃣ Start a New Receiving Operation

·       Tap the ☰ (burger menu) in the upper-left corner.

·       Select "Receive Inventory" from the menu options.

·       Tap the ➕ button in the upper-right corner to start a new receiving session.

·       Optionally, enter a collection name for reference.

We recommend enabling "Online Mode" before scanning. This validates SKUs in real-time, preventing scans for items that are not yet in your catalog (e.g., new products).

·       Tap "Create" to begin scanning.











   

 




3️⃣ Scanning & Entering Items

You have three ways to add items to your receiving list:
 Manually enter the SKU or product name in the search bar.
 Use your phone’s camera (tap the 📷 camera button in the upper-right corner).
 Scan with a Bluetooth barcode scanner like this recommended model.

 

4️⃣ Managing Scanned Items

·       Each scanned item appears in the list, showing:

o   Product name

o   Quantity on hand (QOH)

o   Scanned quantity
 🔹 (These details are only visible when "Online Mode" is enabled.)

📌 Editing & Adjustments:

·       Swipe right on an item to delete it.

·       Tap an item to manually adjust the quantity or update its cost/price.

 

🚨 What if a scanned item is not in your catalog?

·       You’ll see an error message stating "SKU Not Found."

·       To add the item to your catalog:

o   Tap the triple dots (⋮) in the upper-right corner.

o   Select "Add Product."

o   Tap "ADD NEW" (red button), fill in product details, and tap "Save."

o   Now, scan the item again to receive it.


5️⃣ Finalizing the Receiving Process

·       Once all items are scanned, tap "Continue."

·       Review the scanned list before finalizing. If needed, tap "Back" to make adjustments.

·       Tap "Receive Now" to complete the process.








6️⃣ Reviewing Received Inventory in the Back Office (My.franpos.com)

Access received product details in the Back Office:

·       Navigate to Reconcile Section → Click on Activity Tab to download received product files.

·       Generate a Stock Movement Report to track received inventory: Stock Movement Report.
