S300-A80 Troubleshoot Connection


Reconnecting PAX S300/A80


  1. Verify that the PAX has power and is on the Google/Apple Pay screen
  2. Grab the serial number from the back of the PAX you are trying to connect
  3. From the register - Settings > Devices > Pin Pad Settings
  4. Enter in the serial number and select “Find Terminal IP”
  5. Alternately select “Scan Network”
  6. Select hide keyboard once the device is found
  7. Select Test Connection
  8. Connection Established pop-up should appear




If you are unable to find the PAX device – 

  1. Unplug the power cable
  2. Unplug and re-click in the Ethernet cables (red connector)
  3. Plug the device back in
  4. Verify while it is powering up that it DHCPs successfully

Return to the register and attempt the connection tests once again
