Sale cases of items with Astro Frequent Feeder program
In this article, we will guide you on how to set up and use the "Vendor SKU for Frequent Feeder" feature for selling cases of items as part of the Astro Frequent Feeder program.
Preparation:
- Astro integration must be enabled under your Frequent Feeder settings.
- The item should not be a matrix product.
- Track Inventory toggle must be enabled at the product level.
How to Set Up:
Once all preparation requirements are met, you will see a new toggle on the product level called "Use Vendor SKU for Frequent Feeder". This feature uses the Vendor SKU to match case items with Astro.
- Enable the "Use Vendor SKU for Frequent Feeder" toggle.
- Example:
- SKU of a single can: 888641131228
- SKU of a case (12 cans): 888641131273
- Go to the Vendor section under the product:
- Enter the Case SKU from the Astro catalog.
- Manually define the Number of Items in the Case (e.g., 12).

How to Use:
- Select a customer.
- Go to Options → Astro Rewards.
- Select the program with the case item setup (e.g., Zignature Dog), then click Apply.
- Add the Case SKU to the cart.
- The system will automatically add the correct number of individual items (e.g., 12 cans) to the cart, applying the Astro discount/payment.
