How to Zero Out Your Inventory

Process 1: Zero Out Inventory via Categories

  1. Navigate to Catalog → Categories.
  2. Select the categories that should be zeroed out.
  3. Check the boxes next to the specific categories. Note: Selecting a parent category does not automatically select child categories—please select them separately.
  4. Click Batch Actions → Reset Item Count.

Process 2: Zero Out Inventory via Reconcile Page

  1. Open the Reconcile page: Franpos Reconcile.
  2. Add the relevant items to the list and change their Quantity (QTY) to 0.
  3. Enable the "Zero-out uncounted" toggle.
  4. Click Save to apply changes.

Process 3: Zero Out Inventory via Import

  1. Go to Settings → Import.
  2. Download the "Update Product/Matrix Stock Quantity" template.
  3. Fill out the SKU and QOH (Quantity on Hand) columns.
    • Enter 0 in the QOH column for items you wish to zero out.
  4. Import the updated file back into the system.


Alternative Method (Bulk Update Without Manual Entry)

  1. Go to Settings → Export.
  2. Download the "Product/Matrix Stock" export file.
  3. In the exported file, override the "Stock Quantity" column to 0.
  4. Re-import the modified file following the previous steps.
