Connect Astro

Prerequisites – 

Acquire your credentials from Astro

Verify offers are live

Ask Astro to turn on API for connection from FranPOS

Connection Setup - 

Proceed to Settings > Frequent Feeder - https://my.franpos.com/FrequentFeeder

Update the Astro settings – 

1. Enable Astro Loyalty integration
2. Select Matching field – Product code or SKU
3. Calculate tax for free items (optional)
4. Enter Username
5. Enter Password
6. Select Save

Using Astro

Checking frequent feeder status – 

1. Add a customer to the order on the register
2. Select Options
3. Astro Rewards

4. A list of applicable rewards will populate

Redeeming Astro rewards – 

1. Add a customer to the order on the register
2. Add applicable items to the cart
3. Select charge (order will sync with Astro)
4. A pop-up will appear if customer has rewards available

5. Select “Yes” to redeem the reward
6. Touch the item you want the reward to apply to

7. Touch “Select” to apply the reward
8. Item in the cart will reflect the free price
9. Continue through the payment screen as usual
10. Tax will be applied if selected in the back-office setup

Redeeming Astro Discounts –

1. Add a customer to the order on the register
2. Add applicable items to the cart
3. Select the Discount menu under charge
4. Select the Astro discount that applies to the product(s)

5. Discount will be applied to the products inside the cart

**Note that the discount will only apply correctly if the Product Code or SKU in FranPOS matches exactly what is provided by Astro**
