Set up eCommerce Orders on Your Register Settings

Make sure the delivery set up is done on the back office first: https://support.franpos.com/portal/en/kb/articles/ecommerce-delivery

To start receiving eCommerce orders on your register, follow these steps:

Step 1: Navigate to eCommerce Settings

      1. On your register, go to Settings.
      2. Select eCommerce from the menu.
      3. Turn the toggle ON "Receive eCommerce orders on this device."

Step 2: Customize Notification Preferences (Optional)

Once the eCommerce orders are enabled, you may also configure additional notification settings:

  1. Make Audible Sound When New Orders Arrive: Turn this on if you want a sound notification whenever a new eCommerce order is received.
  2. Repeat Audible Sound: Enable this setting if you want the alert sound to repeat until acknowledged.
  3. Audible Sound Repeat Interval (Minutes): Adjust the interval at which the sound will repeat by using the plus (+) and minus (-) buttons to set the desired time.
  4. Print a Notification Slip When New Orders Arrive: Enable this option to print a slip for every new incoming order.
  5. Notification Slip Type: When enabling notification slip printing, you can choose between:
    1. Notification Slip
    2. Order Receipt


What Happens When an Order Arrives?

  1. Once an eCommerce order is placed, you will receive a notification under the Tickets section in your Register App. 
  2. If sound notifications are enabled, an audible alert will notify you of the incoming order.
  3. If the Repeat Audible Sound option is turned on, the notification sound will continue playing at the set interval until the order is acknowledged.
  4. If the print notification option is activated, a slip will be printed automatically.

Acknowledging an eCommerce Order

To acknowledge and process an incoming eCommerce order:

      1. Go to the “Pickup” section in the Register App.
      2. Click on “Process” to begin working on the order.
      3. If needed, you can click the back arrow to return the order to its previous status.
If you return the order to “New,” the notification will pop up again, and the sound will be heard once more.
