Service & Commission settings

In this training, you will learn how to assign an employee to a service and commission for booking:


1. Navigate to my.franpos.com -> Settings > Services/Commissions.

2. Select the employee you want to update. You will see a list of all services available in your store. If needed, you can filter by category.


Column Definitions:

- Enabled: Enable or disable this service for the selected service provider.

- Name: Name of the service.

- Category: Category of the service.

- Price: Price for the service. Price can be defined for each service provider individually.

- Member Price: If the service is part of a membership, this price will be used during checkout. Membership can be defined for each service provider individually.

- Service Time: How much time is needed for this service. Service time can be defined for each service provider individually.

- Process Time: If the service requires a pause, it will create a gap in the appointment that lasts as long as the process time. Appointment will continue based on the process time. Process time can be defined for each service provider individually.

- Finish Time: How long the service will last after the pause defined in Process Time. Requires "Process Time" more than 0. Finish time can be defined for each service provider individually.

- Commission: How much the service provider should receive as commission for that service. If the "Is Percentage" flag is unchecked, the commission will be a flat value. For example, if the value is 50, the service provider will receive $50 for that service. If the "Is Percentage" flag is on, the service provider will receive 50% of the total price of the service before taxes.  Commission can be defined for each service provider individually.

- Is Percentage: Defines whether the commission is a flat value or a percentage.  Is Percentage can be defined for each service provider individually.



If you wish to define values in batches, you can use the Magic Wand tool, which will apply the same value to the whole column.

These batch changes are applied only to the services that are displayed on the screen. If you wish to display more services on the screen, you can increase the "Items per page" value under the table.



Changes applied on this page DO NOT affect existing (future and past) appointments.


If you wish to reset service prices and times from the service list or enable all services for all employees, you can do this using the three dots options on the right-hand side of the screen.
