In this training, you will learn how to set up an automated discount which takes effect when certain items are added to a ticket e.g. shopping cart.

• Marketing > General > Discount & Deals

1. Select ‘+’ icon
2. Select Add automated discount

Assign to order sub-total – applies to all products in order

1. Make sure store is selected
2. Name the discount
3. Add discount code
4. Select discount type option ‘Applies to product subtotal’
5. Select amount type e.g. Percentage, price override or amount
6. Choose start/end date you want to discount to apply
7. Chose automation type e.g. Quantity base
8. Choose condition check mode type e.g. per line item, per product or aggerated
9. You can either apply to all subtotal or line by line from item by changing the QTY number
10. Click ‘Save’ to proceed

Assign to product variants (SKU) – applies only to defined product/services

1. Name the discount
2. Give discount code
3. Select discount type option ‘Applies to product variants (SKU)
4. You can search item by SKU (Optional)
5. After searching by SKU, make sure choose that item to apply by SKU discount
6. Click the ‘>>’ icon to shift to right-side for discount to take effect

     7. Select amount type e.g. Percentage, price override or amount

     8. Give amount e.g. $10.00

     9. Choose start/end date you want to discount to apply

   10. Choose automation type e.g. Quantity base, Smart Bundle or Product bundle

   11. Click ‘Save’ to proceed

Please note: The Product bundle type allows tracking sales of specific SKU's and discounting as per the entered amount/percentage. You can set a quantity amount, which will allow you to discount an item to a customer (must be selected at the check out) if they hit this threshold. You can also discount multiple SKU's.

Assign to certain category product variants – applies only to products in certain categories

1. Name the discount
2. Give discount code
3. Select discount type option ‘assign to certain category product variants’
4. Click the tick box for which category you want to discount to apply
5. Shift the tick box category to the right-hand side

6. Select amount type e.g. Percentage, price override or amount
7. Give amount e.g. $5.00
8. Choose start/end date you want to discount to apply
9. Choose automation type e.g. Quantity base or Smart Bundle

 Click ‘Save’ to proceed
