Allow Multiple Appointments per Time Slot via Online Booking

This article explains how to configure your Franpos system to allow multiple customers to book appointments with the same employee at the same time via online booking.

For example, you can configure the system so that a single employee can receive two or more appointments for the same time slot, such as 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM, on the same day.


How to Set It Up

The setup process is simple. Follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Employees page in the Back Office.
  2. Open the employee profile you want to modify.
  3. Locate the field named Booking per Timeslot.
  4. By default, this value is set to 1, meaning only one appointment is allowed per time slot via online booking.
  5. Update the value to the number of appointments you'd like to allow. For example:
    • Set it to 2 to allow two overlapping appointments.
    • Set it to 3 to allow three bookings in the same time slot, and so on (up to 10).

  6. Click Save to apply changes.

Example Scenario

In this example, Employee Nikita P already has an appointment booked at 11:00 AM Booking per timeslot defined as 1.



Initially, when a customer tries to book the same time online, the time slot appears as unavailable.


However, after updating Booking per Timeslot to 2, the 11:00 AM slot becomes available again on the online booking portal, allowing a second customer to book that time.



If you later try to book a third appointment for the same time slot, it will be blocked - unless you increase the field to 3 or more.

You may set this value up to 10 if your business is comfortable handling multiple clients per employee at the same time (e.g., in group-based or overlapping service environments).
