Use this method if the in-app update does not appear, fails to install, or if you need to reinstall the Register application.
Tap the square button (or two overlapping rectangles on older POS devices)
to view recent apps.
Tap Clear All, or close the Register app by swiping it away or tapping the X.
After tapping the square button, you’ll see a list of all applications running in the background.
You can tap Clear All to close them at once, or close apps individually by tapping the X.
Once finished, you’ll be returned to the Home screen.
Swipe up or tap the Home button.
Locate and open Google Chrome Browser on your device.
In the browser’s address bar, enter:
👉 apps.franpos.com
Press Enter to load the page.
This will open the Franpos App Store, where all available applications are listed.
Tap Register.
On the Franpos App Store page, tap Register.
The download will begin automatically.
Progress may appear at the bottom center or top-left corner of the screen.
Once the download completes, tap Install.
After installation, tap Open to launch the updated Register app.
After launching the app, tap the "?" icon to confirm that the correct
Register version is installed.
If the update was successful, you will no longer see the update notification.
