Saturn Castle Handheld Setup

In this article you will learn how to setup Saturn Castle Handheld and use Register Application on it. 

FYI: Please make sure the device is fully charged before powering it on.

This device can operate using either Wi-Fi or Cellular Data. To set it up, simply power it on and connect it to Wi-Fi so the Register application can download. Once the app has downloaded, the user can log in and begin processing transactions.

Important
In many cases, the Register application may not download automatically even after connecting to Wi-Fi. If this happens, we recommend that the store owner or employee contact Franpos Support at 408-898-3217 (EXT 2) and provide the device’s serial number. We can then push the Register application to the device. After that, the app should download within about a minute. Once downloaded, the user can log in, wait for the sync to complete, and start processing transactions.

To download and install the Register application, please connect the device to Wi-Fi. Once the app is installed and the user has logged in, the device can also be operated using Cellular Data by turning off Wi-Fi.

The Saturn handheld uses an eSIM, so no physical SIM installation is required.






By default, the device comes with only two applications: Settings & Transactions

The Register application will appear only after it has been downloaded to the device. This is the app that should be used for processing transactions and handling all Franpos-related operations.



To verify or connect the device to Wi-Fi, open the Settings application on the main screen. When prompted to access the Network tab, enter the PIN code 0725.







Once the device has downloaded the Register application, open it and enter your Franpos login credentials to sign in.





Click OK when this pop-up appears.



Click the hamburger icon to view the store details and the sync progress.






Click Save when this appears during setup process


Once the sync reaches 100%, the Register is ready for use.
