Franpos offers a native integration with Shopify eCommerce, allowing you to combine the strengths of both platforms.
This integration lets you take advantage of Shopify’s online marketplace reach and flexibility,
while continuing to use Franpos for robust reporting, inventory control, and in-store sales management.
Important:
Shopify may charge additional fees that are not related to Franpos, including Shopify subscription plans, payment processing fees, or third-party Shopify app costs.
Key Integration Functionality
The Franpos × Shopify integration keeps your online and in-store operations fully synchronized.
Product data, inventory levels, and transactions are shared between both platforms in near real time.
1. Catalog Syncing
When an item is created or updated in Shopify,
the same item is automatically created or updated in the Franpos Catalog using the same values.
This eliminates the need to manually duplicate products between systems
and ensures consistent item data across both platforms.

2. Two-Way Inventory Sync
Inventory quantities are synchronized in both directions:
- Stock changes made in Franpos are reflected in Shopify
- Stock changes made in Shopify are reflected in Franpos
This real-time inventory sync helps prevent overselling
and keeps availability accurate for both online and in-store customers.
3. Two-Way Order (Ticket) Sync
Sales transactions are synchronized between Franpos and Shopify:
- Orders created in Franpos are created in Shopify
- Orders created in Shopify are created in Franpos
If an item exists in Franpos but does not yet exist in Shopify,
it will be automatically created in Shopify during the transaction sync.
This ensures that reporting, sales history, and inventory remain consistent across both platforms.
4. Royalty Management
Franpos includes built-in royalty management for franchise and multi-location businesses
using Shopify as their eCommerce platform.
This allows you to:
- Track online sales attributed to individual franchise locations
- Calculate franchise royalty or platform usage fees
- Pay franchisees their share of transactions generated for their stores
Royalty management ensures transparent and automated financial reconciliation
between the corporate account and franchise locations.
