Set up of ICT250 Semi-Integrated Pin-pad
Before connecting, please make sure that the device matches the following information:
- SDK Version: 9.26.2
- OS Version: 4614
- App Version: 0604
You can find out about this as follows.
- Press the .,#* button
- Enter the password
- Go to the Terminal info Menu or press "7"
- Press 1 or Terminal info
Connecting the iCT250 Semi Integrated Pin-Pad
- Watch the video to get an idea of the installation instructions. Not all connections will be exactly as described in the video.
- Note: Your locations will only need to use the LAN (ethernet) cable connection mentioned in the video. A phone line can be connected to the other port to act as a failover backup in case your internet were to go down. No additional setup should be required on the pin-pad.
- Once your terminal is connected to your network plug in the power and your pin-pad will begin to boot
- Your pin-pad may download some updates. Once these downloads are complete and the pad is at the main screen a welcome message or Chase Paymentech logo should be displayed.
- Press the .,#* key above the green
- Enter your Manager password. Using the F (this is the key above red ) key on the keypad to change your numbers to letters and then press the green pin pad button.
- Find and Select 3-Setup Menu
- Enter your Manager password. Using the F (this is the key above red) key on the keypad to change your numbers to letters and then press the green pin pad button.
- Find and Select 2-Communications
- Find and Select 3-Ethernet
- Find and Select 1-Current Setup
- Verify that the information shows the pad is set up for Dynamic IP Mode
- Write down the IP Address being displayed
- Back out to the main screen by pressing the red 4 times until you are back at the Main Menu
- Find and Select 6-Security
- Enter your Manager password. Using the F (this is the key above red ) key on the keypad to change your numbers to letters and then press the green pin pad button.
- Find and Select 3-Main Menu PWs
- Find and Select 1-PWReturn
- Find and Select 1-Off
- Back out to the main screen by pressing the red 2 times until you are back at the Main Menu
- Find and Select 9-Miscellaneous Options
- Find and Select 1-Semi-integrated
- Find and Select 1-Enable Semi-integration
- Press F1 to select ON
- Find and Select 2-Communication Type
- Find and Select 3-Ethernet
- Enter in 1433 for the port number. And press the green pin pad button.
- Back out to the main screen by pressing the red 3 times until you are back at the welcome screen.
- On your, POS choose the settings icon on the left side of the Register application
- Select Devices
- Select pin-pad settings
- Enter the pin-pad IP address
- Enter the port number as 1433
- Tap SCAN NETWORK
- After the register finds the pin-pad tap TEST CONNECTION
- If the test is successful tap Done
