Set up of ICT250 Semi-Integrated Pin-pad

Before connecting, please make sure that the device matches the following information:

  • SDK Version: 9.26.2
  • OS Version: 4614
  • App Version: 0604

You can find out about this as follows.

  • Press the .,#* button
  • Enter the password
  • Go to the Terminal info Menu or press "7"
  • Press 1 or Terminal info

Connecting the iCT250 Semi Integrated Pin-Pad

  1. Watch the video to get an idea of the installation instructions. Not all connections will be exactly as described in the video.
  2. Note: Your locations will only need to use the LAN (ethernet) cable connection mentioned in the video. A phone line can be connected to the other port to act as a failover backup in case your internet were to go down.  No additional setup should be required on the pin-pad.
  3. Once your terminal is connected to your network plug in the power and your pin-pad will begin to boot
  4. Your pin-pad may download some updates. Once these downloads are complete and the pad is at the main screen a welcome message or Chase Paymentech logo should be displayed.
  5. Press the .,#* key above the green 
  6. Enter your Manager password. Using the F  (this is the key above red  ) key on the keypad to change your numbers to letters and then press the green pin pad button.
  7. Find and Select 3-Setup Menu
  8. Enter your Manager password. Using the F (this is the key above red) key on the keypad to change your numbers to letters and then press the green pin pad button.
  9. Find and Select 2-Communications
  10. Find and Select 3-Ethernet
  11. Find and Select 1-Current Setup
  12. Verify that the information shows the pad is set up for Dynamic IP Mode
  13. Write down the IP Address being displayed
  14. Back out to the main screen by pressing the red  4 times until you are back at the Main Menu
  15. Find and Select 6-Security
  16. Enter your Manager password. Using the F  (this is the key above red ) key on the keypad to change your numbers to letters and then press the green pin pad button.
  17. Find and Select 3-Main Menu PWs
  18. Find and Select 1-PWReturn
  19. Find and Select 1-Off
  20. Back out to the main screen by pressing the red 2 times until you are back at the Main Menu
  21. Find and Select 9-Miscellaneous Options
  22. Find and Select 1-Semi-integrated
  23. Find and Select 1-Enable Semi-integration
  24. Press F1  to select ON 
  25. Find and Select 2-Communication Type
  26. Find and Select 3-Ethernet
  27. Enter in 1433 for the port number. And press the green pin pad button.
  28. Back out to the main screen by pressing the red 3  times until you are back at the welcome screen.
  29. On your, POS choose the settings icon on the left side of the Register application
    1. Select Devices
    2. Select pin-pad settings
    3. Enter the pin-pad IP address
    4. Enter the port number as 1433
    5. Tap SCAN NETWORK
    6. After the register finds the pin-pad tap TEST CONNECTION
    7. If the test is successful tap Done
