Franpos GEN 4 / Android 13 OS Update

Important Notice

This update should only be performed under the guidance of the Franpos Support Team.

Before continuing, make sure:

  • All data is fully synced with the Back Office
  • The cash drawer is closed
  • This process is performed outside of business hours

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: On your POS, download the update file from the following link:
Franpos 13" OS_V5: Download OS Update File
Franpos 21'': Download OS Update File


Step 2: On the POS, go to:
Android Settings → System → Local Update

Step 3: Tap on OTA Option → then tap Search → select your downloaded OS update file.










Warning
Please do not access file location via Recent or Downloads shortcut



Step 4:
Wait for the update process to complete.


Do not power off POS until the update finishes.

After the update is completed POS Prompts for Reboot. Please click on Reboot.
