What it does

  • Checks tomorrow’s capacity each day.
  • If below X%, sends a promo SMS to a selected audience.
  • Runs automatically after setup—no manual work.

Placeholders you can use:
%CustomerFirstName% → customer’s first name  •  %CompanyName% → your store name  •  %DiscountCode% → discount code (shown as text in SMS)

Step 1 — Basics

  1. Go to Marketing → Add Campaign.
  2. (Optional) Toggle Include all customers across selected stores and enable Enroll all new locations automatically for multi-store rollouts.
  3. Name the campaign (e.g., Next-Day Capacity 80% – $5 Off).

Step 2 — Message & offer

  1. Send type: Automated
  2. Send criteria: If booking for next day is less than X% of total capacity
  3. Parameter X: set your threshold (e.g., 80)
  4. Campaign type: Text
  5. Offer (discount): choose your promotion (e.g., $5 Off or 10% Off)
  6. Recipients: Main contacts/parents
  7. Subject: Booking tomorrow and get $5 off
  8. Sample SMS content (choose one):
    • Hi %CustomerFirstName%, we have a few open spots for tomorrow! Book now at %CompanyName% and use %DiscountCode% for $5 off.

Important: SMS shows the discount code only (no barcode). If you also send an email version, you can include a barcode there.

Step 3 — Audience, schedule & filters

  1. Send to: choose Registration date to target customers registered between specific dates (e.g., Registered from: 06/01/2025 to Registered before: 10/31/2025).
  2. Start date & Send time: pick a daily time (e.g., 2:30 PM) so customers see it early.
  3. (Optional) Filter by state or ZIP for geo-targeting.

Step 4 — Preview & launch

  1. Use Preview to confirm placeholders and offer.
  2. Send a test SMS to verify formatting.
  3. Click Save to activate.

  • Keep it simple. A short message and clear code convert best.
  • Test thresholds. Try 70%, 80%, or 85% to balance customer volume and margin.
  • Time-boxed offer. Make the code valid for 24–48 hours to encourage quick booking.
