Printer Settings (Inside Register Application) for Receipts Printing Gibberish Issue
In this article you will learn how to define the printer (Height/Delay) settings inside Register application in order to fix the Receipt Gibberish print issue.
First and Foremost - Request you to Please update the Register application to the latest version 4.4.3 by following the instructions in the article attached below
Once the application is on V 4.4.3 or higher please follow these steps
1. Please click on Settings - Devices - Printers
2. Click on Franpos XP Series
Define the Height and Delay settings Accordingly ( Height = 100, Delay = 1000 )
Click on Save
Restart the app
Once the app is restarted - please wait for the Sync to complete and start using the application.
Important - If you find receipts printing with a delay after defining these settings please ignore printing receipts and use of Text/email receipt feature for now. We will have one more Hot Fix version released soon.
