My Website Guidance "Pages" Page

Creating and Managing Pages on Your Website

Introduction

This is the fifth guide in a series on how to use and configure websites within Franpos. In this article, you'll learn how to create custom pages for your website using the My Website > Pages section. You’ll also discover how to link these pages to buttons on your site and manage their content.

Step 1: Creating a Page

Info
Example

To get started, click the "+" button to create a new page. In the popup window, you'll see the following fields:

  • Title – A custom name for your page. This is only visible in the back office and helps you identify the page internally.
  • Page URL – The custom link users will see in the browser's address bar.
  • Published toggle – Controls whether the page is active and visible to the public.

Example

There is also an SEO section where you can adjust the following settings:

  1. SEO Name – Changes the name that appears on the browser tab for your page.

  2. Meta Description – Adds a hidden description to the web page.

  3. Keywords – Add relevant keywords that help users find the page through search engines.

These settings are designed to improve the search engine optimization (SEO) of your pages, making it easier for users to discover your website online.

You’ll also see the Edit Content button, which opens the content editor where you can build your page using BeeFree content blocks.

Once you've set the title and URL, click Save and proceed to edit your page content using the Edit Content button.

Step 2: Editing Page Content

Info
Example

In the page editor, you'll see several columns — the most important one is Content. Here, you can drag and drop the blocks you need and fill them with content.
There is also a Settings column where you can view and adjust the size of your blocks, if needed.

Example

WarningPlease note that the font family setting is not functioning properly in Editor. If you need to change the font of your text, it should be done using a custom script in the My Website > Site Info settings.

Example

In our example, we’ll create a Terms of Use page, which only requires two block types: Title and Paragraph.
After adding and customizing these blocks, make sure to save the draft in the content editor. Then, close the editor and save the page again in the main creation window.

At this point, the page is fully created and ready to use.
Idea
Please remember to refresh the page so the changes are properly applied in the back office

Step 3: Linking the Page to a Website Button

Although the page is created, it won’t appear on your website until you link it to a button. To do this, go to the Menu section and create a new button.

Example

For custom content pages like this one, it’s best to select the "Content Page" type. This will allow you to choose the newly created page in the Web Address field and assign it a Placement — such as the header or footer of your website.

Once you save the new menu button, it will be added to your site, giving your visitors access to the new page.

Bee Free Blocks – Good to Know

When working with Bee Free blocks, you have access to several useful options:

  • Preview – Displays a preview of the web page.

  • Select a Template – Allows you to choose a template from previously saved ones.

  • Load Stock Template – Lets you load one of the standard templates available for web pages.

  • Save as New Template – Saves the current block settings so they can be reused for a different store.

  • Import/Export Sections – Enables you to copy all content and apply it to a different store.

These tools help streamline the design process and ensure consistency across multiple store pages.
